Mark Smith is a native Californian, currently living in Diego. He grew up with great art instructors in Palos Verdes, San Luis Obispo, and Arcata, before returning to L.A. to attend the Art Center College of Design. He continues to study art through the San Diego Watercolor Society workshops, and enjoys traveling and collecting new images to distort, convert and express through his own personal interpretation.

Mark is an international award winning artist and a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, California Watercolor Society, and the San Diego Watercolor Society.
